The first written Greek references to Jews refers to them as a race of thinkers. A veritable plethora of distinguished analytic philosophers (Geach, Kenny, Alvin Plantinga, Richard Swinburne, and James Ross, to name but a few) are with increasing frequency taking medieval discussions as the starting point for the critical examination of issues in philosophical theology.
