Continental Army Band in Hampton, Virginia. It is in fabulous condition with only minor wear and a few spots of lacquer discoloration. Additionally the string linkage has been replaced with a ball and socket linkage. To make other pitches the player changes his lip shape. Similar to the other open port valves like the Trubore and Lindberg, this one is set up a bit more traditionally. Most interestingly, this instrument has the original "kruspe" water key.
