It's a beautiful instrument and has been meticulously restored. This is a nice playing Bach model LT6 made in the Bronx factory in New York during the "67" production period. These are linked to their respective principal instruments with either a "d" if the same player doubles the instrument, or a "+" if an extra player is required. Small dents the size of a nickel won�t really affect the playing but larger ones will. Tenor trombone bells are usually between 7 and 9 inches in diameter, the most common being sizes from 7½ to 8½ inches.
